Meaning Behind the Logo

Meaning Behind the Logo

What's good family? First, of all we are glad you came by to check us out. We pray that not only have you found our merchandise appealing, but that you also feel encouraged and empowered through your purchase and support of our brand!

One of the most frequently asked questions we get by far is "What does your logo mean?" Let's talk about it! The logo consists of the DNA double helix with the 4 Paleo-Hebrew letters that form the name of our Creator, Yahweh. These four letters are known as the Tetragrammaton. The 1:27 is a reference to Gen 1:27 which states, "So God created man in His own image, in the image of God created He him; male and female created He them."

In addition to this we also read in Gen 2:7 "And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul." So we see that God created us in His own image and likeness by forming us from earth and breathing Himself into us, therefore making us come alive. He is our source and in Him we live, move and have our being. As image bearers, His name is imprinted in our DNA.

Knowing this, our mission is to encourage our fellow image bearers, both those who know whom, and who's they are, as well as those who are unaware. Our ministry is one of reconciliation. We act as ambassadors of God as though He were pleading through us for others to be reconciled. Our hope is that our apparel can spark those conversations and plant, or water seeds, so that God may give the increase in the lives of those we come into contact with.

At Tetra, we live our motto, which is "Designed by The Divine." We are His masterpiece (poiema), we are fearfully and wonderfully made, we are kings and priests and co-heirs in His kingdom! He has shared His glory with us. As He is, so are we in the world. Image bearers, welcome to the Tetra life!!!
